Description
In 2025, THINK GLOBAL conducted the final external evaluation and assessment of mid-term results of the project “From the Apennines to the Shouf”, implemented in Lebanon within the Shouf Biosphere Reserve.
The initiative promoted participatory governance and sustainable territorial development through the adaptation of Italian best practices — including the River Contract model, the Model Forest approach, and short agri-food value chains — to the Lebanese context.
Using OECD-DAC criteria and a Results-Based Management (RBM) framework, THINK GLOBAL assessed performance, institutional ownership, and sustainability, providing evidence-based findings and strategic recommendations to strengthen long-term environmental and governance outcomes.
