Description
Management and supervision of a large health network including 27 clinics (PHC and First Aid Post) and 3 surgical hospitals covering several provinces of Afghanistan, with 1,200 employees (2004-2012).
The clinics had a size range between 200 and 1.000s.m.; the hospitals (100 beds) were fully equipped and included OT blocks, ICU, ER, OPD, medical and surgical Wards, Maternity, Lab, Physio and Radiology (including CT Scan).
Several market surveys for pharmaceutical products have been performed over the years; a complete review of the purchasing protocols has been completed as well, together with the implementation of a new hospital pharmacy management system all over the country, including the peripherical network.
