Description
In 2022, UNICEF wanted to take forward development of policies, strategies, and guidelines for the Lebanese oxygen generation, through the production of a comprehensive tool able to guide the Lebanese Health System in the coming years, including:
- Oxygen Sources Field Assessment;
- Development of an Oxygen-related Sustainable Training Strategy;
- Development of a 15-years Implementation Plan;
- Development of two Operational Case Studies.
THINK GLOBAL has been appointed as technical consultant to: - perform the field assessment applying the UNICEF Oxygen System Planning Tool (OSPTool), carried out in November 2022;
- develop Oxygen-related Training Strategy performing a workshop in Beirut on 20-21 December 2022;
- develop the 15 years Implementation Plan, applying the “Failure Tree Analysis” and through the “Maintenance Analogy”, in order to provide the oxygen eco system with more strength with the investment actions and with more resilience with the operational actions.
Two Implementation Actions, related to the installation of new PSA plants in Tebnin and Rachaya Hospital, have been considered as Implementation Cases, in order to provide a stable and reliable source of oxygen at hospital level.
