Description

Commissioned by UNICEF Zambia, THINK GLOBAL, together with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), designed the Primary Health Care Strategy 2024–2030 and the Costed Operational Plan 2024–2026, the core policy framework guiding the reform of Zambia’s national health system.

Developed in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the strategy defines the roadmap to strengthen PHC as the foundation of Universal Health Coverage, covering governance, service delivery, human resources, financing, digital health and supply chains.

THINK GLOBAL led the entire process — from design to validation — coordinating technical experts within the Ministry and engaging national and provincial stakeholders across all ten provinces to deliver an evidence-based and fully costed strategy for a more resilient and equitable health system.
